G4 regards Black Economic Empowerment as a business imperative. The following principles form part
of the day-to-day running of our contracts:
1. In-house and accredited external training of all our workers
2. Employment of labourers from local communities
3. Employment and training of local BEE subcontractors
4. Supporting local BEE suppliers
5. Job creation for women
6. We believe that the local communities should benefit from all projects in their areas and we extend our social responsibility programme to these communities.
Since submission of our first Employment Equity Plan in 2000, we have consistently focused on the education and training of our employees. Our current EE plan is aimed at the employment of disabled personnel and training of black females.
